Step 1 of 5 — Data Mining

What you will do

  • Navigate to Student Academic → Academic Results → Consolidated Marks in ABno
  • Select the academic year, school, programme, year of study, and session
  • Export the data to Excel

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open ABno and navigate to Consolidated Marks

  1. Log in to ABno.
  2. From the main menu, select Student Academic.
  3. Under Student Academic, click Academic Results.
  4. Click Consolidated Marks.

2. Fill in the search filters

Fill in each filter carefully:

FieldExample valueNotes
Academic Year2025/2026Select the correct academic year
SchoolSchool of EngineeringSelect your school
ProgrammeEN 200Search and select your programme code
Year of StudyYear 1Repeat for each year (1 through 4)
SessionSemester 1, 2025Collect each session separately
Collect all years and sessions

You must repeat this process for each year of study (Year 1 through Year 4) and each session (Semester 1 and Semester 2) that the students attended. This ensures you have the complete academic history.

3. Display and export the data

  1. After selecting all filters, click Display (or Print).
    • The system may take a moment to process — this is normal.
  2. Once data appears, click the Export to Excel option.
  3. Save the file to a folder on your computer.
    • You can name it anything you like (e.g. consolidated_EN200_sem1.xlsx).
  4. Open the saved file in Excel and confirm the data has exported correctly.

You now have your student marks data in Excel format, ready for conversion.
